Radars are a module used to detected interstellar bodies in space. They are used by right clicking the radar sign, sending out a ping. It can detect ships and their types, storms, anomalies, planets, and wormholes. When approaching a storm, anomaly, or wormhole, it will initially only tell you there is an anomaly x blocks away. But as you get closer, if you send out another ping, it will tell you what exactly the anomaly is. There are 3 tiers of radars. The higher the tier, the larger the range of detection. Radars also show objects in their glass parts, with you being green, and the other objects color depending on the object. Each tier requires a sign that says [radar] on the base. Tier 1 uses 1 module slot, tier 2 uses 3 modules slots, and tier 3 uses 5 module slots.


Each color on the radar represent different things.


Green - Yourself


Orange - Other


Black - Wormhole, Anomaly


Blue - Planet


Gray - Asteroid Field


Tier 1[edit]

Materials:

  • 1 Mechanical Block (Sponge)
  • 1 Glass Block
  • 1 Sign

  • 4 Glowstone
  • 8 Glass*
  • 1 Sign

Materials:

  • 9 Sea Lanterns
  • 27 Glass
  • 1 Sign
